We are urgently seeking a tutor who can support a high school student with International Baccalaureate Economics (Higher Level).
Please note: We require candidates with direct International Baccalaureate experience (as a teacher or former IB student). Standard Level experience alone is not sufficient.
Responsibilities:
Provide academic support for International Baccalaureate Economics (Higher Level) coursework, essay writing, and exam preparation.
Guide the student in applying economic theory to real-world examples, ensuring alignment with International Baccalaureate standards.
Offer clear explanations, essay feedback, and practice exam support.
Requirements:
Must have International Baccalaureate (Higher Level) Economics teaching/tutoring experience, OR have completed International Baccalaureate Economics (Higher Level) as a student with strong results.
Strong academic background in economics.
Must currently reside in Japan with a valid working visa.

Compensation:
¥4,000 per hour guaranteed minimum
Experienced tutors may receive ¥5,000 or more per hour (negotiable depending on qualifications)
Full transportation reimbursement (if in-person lessons are required)
Online lessons are possible
